A way to move naturally that fits your real life
“I want people to realise it’s possible to enjoy moving again
…and to feel good about themselves”
Meet Wendy, your
natural movement guide

But unknowingly ignoring the subtle signs that things weren’t right eventually left me injured, frustrated and living with chronic pain.
Everything changed when I realised that how I moved throughout the day, not just in workouts, was the missing piece. When I shifted to natural, everyday movement, my body healed, my confidence returned and I began to truly enjoy moving again.
Now I help others do the same. With training in natural movement, human movement restoration, plus years of coaching people just like you, I know that small changes can transform how you feel now, and long into the future.
No rigid plans. No one-size-fits-all. Just practical, sustainable support to help enhance functional mobility so you can move well every day, for life.

FAQs
What is natural movement, and why does it matter?
Natural movement is about using the varied ways your body is designed to move in real life; bending, walking, balancing, getting up and down, carrying, reaching and more. Learning with Reclaim Movement helps you notice more opportunities to move, explore more varied options, and integrate them into your daily routine, rather than limiting movement to an “exercise class.” This approach builds functional mobility, strength, confidence and ease, helping you keep doing the things you love for as long as you choose.
How can I improve my mobility at home without a workout routine?
Small changes in how you move through daily tasks and movement breaks can make a big difference, at any age. Standing differently, getting up and down more often, reaching in new ways, or varying the way you sit, are among the many things I coach in my courses.
What is functional mobility training?
Functional mobility training helps you move with more ease in daily life. Instead of isolated exercises, it focuses on practical strength, balance and joint range in the movements you do already and helping you fill your everyday movement gaps. It supports standing, walking, stair-climbing, bending, lifting and all your everyday tasks.
Can gentle, everyday movement really help my joints?
Yes, and far more than most people realise! Your joints rely on movement to stay nourished, supple and pain-free (joint capsules are quite literally “fed” by movement). Gentle, varied movement done throughout the day helps reduce stiffness, supports healthy ageing and keeps your joints working well for longer. Little and often isn’t just helpful, it’s one of the most powerful things you can do for long-term joint health.
I’m in my 40s/50s/60s+ and feel stiff or unsteady, is this approach right for me?
Absolutely. My work supports real bodies in midlife and beyond (and earlier if it resonates – prevention is always better than cure), especially if you feel stiff, have old injuries or surgeries that affect your movement or confidence, or want to make progress but don’t know where to start. All movements are adaptable and designed to help you find what works for your body right now, rebuilding confidence gradually and safely.
How can I build strength at home without traditional strength training?
You can build meaningful strength through everyday movements we often miss or outsource without realising, and by intentionally adding load or working against gravity with your own bodyweight. These real-life loads prepare your body for the things that matter most. Before adding external load, it’s important to develop your general movement capability – exactly what we build in my signature course, Reclaim Everyday Ease.
What are the best ways to improve balance as I age?
Balance improves through small daily “wobbles” and gentle challenges that naturally occur in everyday life. Once you start noticing these moments, you can use them to improve and maintain your balance over time. In Reclaim Movement courses and classes, balance is woven throughout so you can build it in a way that feels safe, natural and right for your body.
What is online movement education?
Online movement education gives you accessible support in a way that fits your life – using materials in your own time and joining live sessions if you choose. Through step-by-step courses, short tutorials, movement breaks, group classes and private coaching, you can learn safe, effective movement from home at your own pace. I also offer in-person coaching in my Oxford studio, as well as speaking, workshops and movement breaks both online and in person.
Do I need to be fit or flexible before starting this?
No. Everything I teach is beginner-friendly and adaptable, whether you’re returning to movement, already active but wanting a stronger foundation, or simply looking for a more natural way to support your mobility and to age well. If you’re recovering from a recent injury or surgery, please check with a medical professional before starting anything new. If you’re ready to work with the body you have now and make gentle, consistent progress, this approach will meet you exactly where you are.
What’s the best way to start with Reclaim Movement?
Most people begin by signing up to my newsletter and now, reading my book, to understand the approach, while others dive straight into a mini course to experience my coaching and start using the methods right away. From there, many choose the signature course for deeper learning, accountability and live support. If you enjoy learning through classes, The Hub gives you access to the RM Studio, and if you’d simply like a boost with short, natural movement breaks, the Everyday Minis are perfect. Whatever you choose, the aim is the same – helping you build confidence, ease and strength through simple everyday movement that fits your life.
